Nattokinase is a fibrinolytic enzyme derived from fermented soybeans (natto) — the traditional Japanese dish. It is measured in Fibrinolytic Units (FU) and is used as a nutritional supplement to support healthy circulation and arterial function. Our Nattokinase Arterial Support is independently verified at over 5,000 FU per capsule by SORA Labs (ISO 17025:2017 accredited).

Three things set us apart. First, we manufacture every product ourselves at our GMP-certified facility in Kidlington, Oxford — we do not use contract manufacturers. Second, a sample from every finished batch is independently tested by an ISO 17025:2017 accredited third-party laboratory with no commercial ties to us. Third, every Certificate of Analysis is published openly on our public testing database at testing.nfsupplements.co.uk. In our own investigation, 7 out of 7 best-selling competitor Nattokinase brands bought on Amazon delivered less than their stated label claim when tested by the same accredited laboratory — one brand had just 17.8% of what it claimed.

It means independent verification at two separate checkpoints, by laboratories with no commercial stake in the result. First, every raw material is checked on intake against the supplier's own independent certificate. Then we pull one or two finished bottles straight off the packing line and send them to ISO/IEC 17025 accredited labs for four assays: active-ingredient potency (e.g. Fibrinolytic Units for Nattokinase, Monacolin K for Cholesterol Support), identity and authenticity, microbial contamination (including E. coli and Salmonella), and heavy metals (lead, arsenic, cadmium and mercury). Every Certificate of Analysis is then published in full and unredacted on our public database at testing.nfsupplements.co.uk, indexed by the batch number on your bottle — so the capsules in your hand can be traced to their exact lab report by scanning the QR code or entering the batch number.

We use four independent laboratories, all accredited to ISO/IEC 17025 — the international standard for testing competence. SORA Laboratories handles potency and microbial testing, Eurofins Scientific provides cross-validation across its global network, Alkemist Labs in California specialises in botanical identity, and RSSL (Reading Scientific Services Ltd) carries out heavy-metal and contaminant analysis here in the UK. Which lab runs a given test depends on the supplement and the assay involved — so not every product goes to the same lab. None of them have any commercial ties to us, so no single lab is ever marking its own homework. Our principle is simple: every batch, every test, published in full.

This only applies if the product has not been used or tampered with and the seal is still intact. The packaging must remain in the same state that it left dispatch, or it will not be accepted under the Distance Selling Act. The return is at the customer's expense, and contact information can be found in our contact section (or email info@nfsupplements.co.uk). The cost of the product will be refunded minus the courier.

If the customer finds the product is defective, or received the incorrect product, Natural Foundation Ltd will replace it at no extra cost to the consumer — so long as the packaging is not damaged and the seal remains unbroken. If the product is damaged internally, notify us and we will determine the course of action needed. If the fault is with the manufacturer and not due to transportation, we will enter a refund/replacement protocol.

Upon receipt of the product, the consumer must check that the package complies with their order and that the packaging is sealed and unbroken. If there is any discrepancy with the packaging due to transportation, it is up to the customer to check with the courier about the protocols for receipt of damaged goods. Do not accept a product if the packaging appears tampered with, damaged, or the seal is broken due to transportation.
